They are the quintessential urbanites living the city life, in a cozy abode amidst a busy city of cement blocks, crammed car trains and treacherous hills...yet through the hustle and bustle of city life in San Francisco, they are still themselves: a woman reformed from her rebellious punk years and a good old wholesome boy next door from the Midwest. They are Mike and Rhea, whom I consider both to be good people and good friends. I knew Rhea when I worked at the Art Institute. She was my handy and trusty assistant, and let's face it, she really did run the place...quite efficiently too!
Our shoot Saturday was a long wait in the making, and the wait was quite worth it. Here you'll find two people in love with a very promising future together.

Hip, hip hooray!!!!

Mike+Rhea, thank you so much for your friendship and for being patient and open to my ideas for this shoot!! I wish you BOTH well in your future together.

Mike bought Rhea a guitar for her birthday - a wise investment because Rhea plays beautifully.

This guitar just screams Rhea.

I am so honored to be the only other person besides Mike to EVER hear Rhea perform.

The couple takes a break to lounge on the couch.

but, nothing says "lounging" like kicking your feet up!

Mike + Rhea have two cats, Ash and Bender. Ash joined us to be part of the shoot too!

My favorite shot of the day!

Bender is SUCH a mama's boy!

...meanwhile Ash is daddy's little girl!

Mike+Rhea suggested we walk up to a park nearby. San Francisco's hills are treacherous, but as soon as our walk uphill was over, I knew it was all worth it as soon as I saw this green door, which by the way gave Mike+Rhea good luck, as you see...

I asked the two if they knew of any tricks. As it turns out Mike is a fantastic juggler!

Mike is a creative at Lucas Arts. He is truly a man of many talents...not a single ball dropped!!!
